Portal.io Integration: Overview
Portal.io is a distributor platform that lets you select between different suppliers and compare prices across them. Access to each underlying supplier is required to retrieve pricing directly through Portal.io.
You can integrate Rev.io with Portal.io using the Integrations Library in the Admin module. The integration works in one direction (from Portal.io into Rev.io) and does two things: it keeps your product costs in Rev.io automatically up to date with the latest supplier pricing from Portal.io, and it turns accepted Portal.io proposals into Rev.io quotes automatically, so you never have to re-enter a won deal by hand.
The integration runs on a daily schedule by default and can be configured to match your operational cadence. Information flows from Portal.io into Rev.io only. The integration never changes proposal content or status in Portal.io, with the exception of an optional informational note it can write back onto a proposal to confirm the sync.
