View the Calendar
The Calendar screen displays all calendar items for a specific rep in a monthly, weekly, or daily view. The calendar can only be viewed for one rep at a time and defaults to the current month.
Calendar items set as Private are only visible to the rep assigned to them. See the Create/Edit Calendar Items article for more information on private items. |
Different Calendar Views
The calendar can be viewed by the month, week, or day. Each view on the Calendar screen is shown below.
Month View
The month view allows users to see all calendar items scheduled for a specific rep for an entire month. Viewing the calendar by month is useful for managing your workload for the month and for scheduling multi-day and potentially even multi-week items.
Week View
The week view allows users to see all calendar items scheduled for a specific rep for a week at a time. Viewing the calendar by week is useful for managing your weekly workload at a glance and scheduling multi-day events.
Day View
The day view allows users to see all calendar items scheduled for a specific rep one day at a time. Viewing the calendar by day is useful for managing daily tasks and attending to each item on time.
Types of Calendar Items
Calendar items displayed on this screen can include events and tasks.
- Events are generic calendar items commonly used to track business activities, like meetings, service calls, and time out of the office. Action options for Events include Appointment, Preventive Maintenance, Service Call, Lunch, Meeting, PTO, and Holiday.
- Tasks function similarly to reminders or digital sticky notes that allow you to schedule time to take various business actions. Action options for Tasks include Follow Up, Phone Call, Send Email, Send Letter, Send Proposal, and To-Do.
Tasks automatically flag as past due if they are not marked as Complete during their scheduled times. Tasks can be marked as Complete and crossed out on the calendar view while events do not display as past due or complete. |
Display Options for Calendar Items
Calendar items can display in multiple ways depending on the type of items selected, the times they were scheduled for, and their Complete/Incomplete status. Examples of the different types and statuses for calendar items are outlined below.

Actions Available on the Calendar Screen
These actions are available on the Calendar screen.
- Create a new calendar item by clicking + New Calendar Item or an empty space on the calendar and entering the relevant details. See the Create/Edit Calendar Items article for more information.
- Return the calendar to the view containing today's date by clicking the Today button.
- Scroll through the months, weeks, and days in the calendar view using the arrow buttons.
- Change the Calendar to a month, week, or day view by clicking the Month, Week, or Day button, respectively.
- View the calendar for a different rep by selecting the rep's name from the dropdown in the top right.
- View or edit details for specific items on the calendar by clicking the item. See the View Calendar Item Details article for more information.
- Reschedule calendar items by clicking and dragging the item to the new date/time. You can also shorten or extend the length of calendar items on the Week or Day views by clicking and dragging the bottom or top edge of the item.
