COPS Integration: Overview
COPS is a cloud-based Central Station professional monitoring platform. Integrating Rev.io with COPS allows you to keep your customer and contact data synchronized between the two platforms.
You can integrate Rev.io with COPS using the Integrations Library in the Admin Module. The integration features a one-way sync of customers from Rev.io to COPS, and a bi-directional sync of contact data between the two platforms. If you populate your COPS Dealer ID, API Passcode, and COPS Environment during configuration, the integration will use webhooks to sync customer changes in real time as they occur. Contact data syncing from COPS runs automatically every morning at 6:00 AM ET.
Once the integration has completed its initial sync, you can sync additional customers to COPS individually from the customer's Integrations tab by clicking the Sync button. As you add or deactivate contacts in Rev.io, those changes will stay in sync on the COPS side. If a contact is deactivated in COPS, you will also need to deactivate them manually in Rev.io at this time.
