View Timesheet: Time Management Section
The Timesheet screen displays time logs entered by the selected tech for the selected week. Selecting an individual time log in the Daily View section allows you to view more details for the log in the Time Management section.
The Time Management section allows you to make changes to time logs for tickets that haven't been closed or sent to Billing. |
Each field in the Timesheet Time Management section is defined below.
No. | Label | Definition |
1 | Billing Options | Select Billable to indicate that the time entered on the time log is billable. See the Marking Time Logs as Billable article for more information. |
2 | Time Log Reason | Reason selected on the time log. Hourly Rate and Product Code on the time log are tied to the Reason. The Reason also includes rate minimums and rounding. |
3 | Actual Time | Time in hours and minutes entered on the time log. This field is read-only. |
4 | Billable Time | Time in hours and minutes entered on the time log that is billable. Billable time is calculated using rate minimums and rounding set by the Reason. This field is read-only. |
5 | Product Code | Product code for the time log. This field is read-only and populates based on the Reason selected. |
6 | Hourly Rate | Hourly rate for the time log. This field populates based on the Reason selected but can be adjusted manually if the time log is Billable. |
7 | Cancel/Save | Click to cancel/save any changes made to the time log using the Time Management section. |
These actions are available in the Timesheet Time Management section.
- Open a time log in the Time Management section to view and edit details by clicking the desired log or the edit icon in the Daily View section.
- Click Save to save any changes made to the time log using the Time Management section.
