Step Five: Configure Time Entry Reasons
Time Entry Reasons help categorize the types of work your technicians perform when logging time in Rev.io. Setting these up ensures that time entries are consistent and properly tied to billable labor.
If you plan to have your techs enter time logs in Rev.io, follow the steps below to configure time entry reasons before they begin. These reasons appear in the Reason dropdown on the ticket Time Logs tab. Each Time Entry Reason must also be linked to the specific labor product(s) you created earlier in Step Three: Configure the Product Catalog.

NOTE: This field is limited to products with the Labor Product Type. if you didn't add at least one labor product in step three, you'll need to go back and add one before you can finish this configuration. |
Now that you've configured your time entry reasons, you can begin using the system with the standard ticket options.
