Create/Edit Agreement Templates
The New Agreement Template screen allows you to create reusable agreement structures that can be applied when creating new customer agreements. When a template is used to create an agreement, the template's components and billing rules are pre-populated on the new agreement. Changes made to a template can be pushed to all agreements created from it, unless the agreement is locked.
To create a new template, navigate to Admin > System Settings > Agreements and click New Agreement Template. To edit an existing template, click the ellipsis next to the template in the list and select Edit.
Many of the fields on the Create/Edit Agreement Template screen are the same as those on the Add/Edit Agreement screen. See the Add/Edit Agreements article for field definitions.
Note that customer-specific fields such as Start Date, Initial Term End, Agreement Expiration, Account Manager, and Owner are not set on the template. These are configured on the individual agreement at the time it is created.
Components
The Components section defines the components that are pre-populated on agreements created from this template. Click Add Component to add a new component. The first component defaults to the Block Hours type, but additional components of other types can be added. Delete any components you do not need. Each component requires a Component Name.
For full details on component types and configuration, see the Add/Edit Agreements article.
Click Create to save the template or Cancel to discard your changes.
