ScanSource Integration: Overview
ScanSource is a value-added distributor of specialty technology products including barcode, networking, physical security, and unified communications equipment.
You can integrate Rev.io with ScanSource using the Integrations Library in the Admin module. The integration automatically syncs your ScanSource dealer costs to your Rev.io product catalog on a daily basis, keeping your costs accurate without manual updates. When a product in your catalog matches an item in ScanSource's catalog, the integration updates the cost on that product using your account's live dealer pricing. For products not yet linked to ScanSource, the integration uses the manufacturer part number on the product to find the matching ScanSource item and adds ScanSource as a vendor automatically.
The integration only updates product costs. It does not modify selling prices, create or delete products, or set ScanSource as the primary vendor on any product.
