Customer Portal: Overview
The Customer Portal allows your end users to access several self-service functions in just a few clicks, including the following.
- Creating, viewing, and downloading tickets
- Viewing and downloading invoices
- Adding and viewing payments
| NOTE: The URL for your Customer Portal is based off your Rev.io PSA URL, followed by the portalrev.io ending. For example, sample.psarev.io would have the Customer Portal URL of sample.portalrev.io. |
Once a user is added as a portal user, they will receive an email with a link to reset their the Customer Portal password. See the Create/Edit Portal Users article for more information on adding users to the customer portal.
| In the future, portal users will be able to create their own portal accounts directly from the customer portal. However, for users to log into the customer portal at this time, you must add the user manually on the Portal Users tab of the customer profile. Then, send the Logging Into the Customer Portal article, which contains instructions on logging into the Customer Portal for the first time, to your portal user. |
The Home screen displays when you first log into the Customer Portal. From this screen, you can navigate to other areas of the portal or create a ticket directly by clicking the Open a Ticket button.
