Number Management: Import Numbers

You can add telephone numbers to a number group in bulk by pasting them directly into Rev.io or by uploading a CSV file. Imports can include a status and notes for each number, so you can bring over your existing number inventory or add blocks of numbers in one step.

Note: You do not need to import numbers ad-hoc before you assign them to a customer's service. You can add those numbers directly to the customer's recurring service on demand. This tool is used for bulk importing large blocks of numbers if your organization pre-purchases blocks of numbers to have on hand as you need them.

Follow these steps to import numbers into a group.

1. Click Inventory in the sidebar menu and select Number Management.
2. Click the three-dot menu at the end of the group's row and select View.
3. Click the Import Numbers button.
4. Add your numbers in one of the following ways.
5. • Paste your numbers directly into the open field. The formatting is flexible, so there is no strict standard to follow.
   • Upload a CSV file.
5. Review your numbers, then click the button to complete the import.

If you need help with formatting, a template is available to download from the import screen. Use it as a guide for including a status and notes with each number.
