Bug Fixes

  • The Status, Severity, and Priority columns on the ticket list screen now consistently display the colors selected in the System Tables category on the System Settings screen. [ADO-45359, 38647, 38636]
  • The Recent Invoices widget on the Customer Profile screen now defaults expanded on the Stage side panel, and the Invoice ID no longer incorrectly displays as a link. [ADO-45485]
  • On the Unposted tab in the Billing section on the Customer Profile screen, one-time charges display with a single date in the Bill Range column instead of a range of dates. [ADO-45487]
  • The Customer Profile screen once again features the Customer ID in the header of the screen. [ADO-45342]
  • When adding a new payment using the Payment quick action on the Customer Profile screen, the Received Date field now displays at the top near the Payment Method dropdown. [ADO-45889]

New Features

  • The Customer Profile screen has been completely overhauled and now features an updated header where you can add custom tags to the customer account. Similar to the Ticket Details screen, the Customer Profile screen also features its own Stage side panel, which currently allows you to access the most recent invoice for the customer, but will feature more options over time. [ADO-42925, 42926, 42928, 43742]
  • The Customer Profile screen also displays additional billing information, invoices, unposted transactions, payment history, and a ledger, which can be accessed from three main tabs: Overview, Servicing, and Billing. You can also access quick actions to add payments, charges, credits, or invoices on the customer account. [ADO-43790, 43791, 43744, 38532, 38534, 38535, 43737, 43681]
  • The Dispatch Board is now available in the Scheduling module, which allows you to efficiently schedule technicians for your tickets. From this screen, you can filter tickets, drag and drop tickets to specific technicians, and schedule calendar items to appear on your technicians' calendars. [ADO-36006, 36008, 36030, 37873]
  • The Dispatch Board also features real-time, updated information for technician availability so you can easily see when techs have items on their calendars and which techs are available for the work you need to schedule. Thanks to Richard Crook for his feedback! [ADO-37308]


Updates

  • The system now prevents you from deleting any entries on the Ticket tab in the System Tables category that are currently being used in your instance. [ADO-42458]
  • The Email Settings category on the System Settings screen now allows you to validate the outgoing email addresses entered for ticket replies and workflow notifications. [ADO-40842, 44183]

  • You can once again add activity on tickets with multiple existing activity entries and create new tickets with Work Requested without generating an error. [ADO-43905]
  • Creating a ticket with a Status that opens the ticket now consistently updates the Opened date and time on the ticket as expected. [ADO-42258]
  • When editing a field on the Ticket or Time Entry tabs in the System Tables category, you are now prevented from adding new entries until you save your edits on the existing entries. [ADO-42856]
  • You are now prevented from creating a time log with a Ticket Status that closes the ticket if there is an active timer running on the ticket. [ADO-44035]
  • Creating a time log on a ticket with no information in the Work Performed field no longer incorrectly creates a blank entry on the Activity tab. [ADO-39021]

  • The Customer Profile screen now features several new tabs that, when fully implemented, will allow you to see additional information for the customer, including Payment History and Portal Users. [ADO-43360]

  • The new Time Management section is now available when selecting permissions for user groups or roles. This section features the 'View other rep's timesheet' permission. [ADO-37985, 34136]
  • The Ticket tab in the System Tables category on the System Settings screen now features the Ticket Type and Severity sections, which allow you to enter, edit, and delete Type and Severity options for tickets. [ADO-29237, 29253]
  • When receiving an email request from a customer, the details from the incoming email now automatically populate the Work Requested field on the ticket. [ADO-30686]
  • The Help link for documentation resources has been updated to point to the Rev.io PSA Documentation Center as expected instead of our previous documentation solution, which we no longer use for Rev.io PSA. [ADO-42811]


Bug Fixes

  • When entering or editing System Tables entries for fields on the Ticket tab, the color picker now works correctly as expected. [ADO-42085]
  • You are now consistently prevented from closing any tickets that have active timers running. [ADO-42332]

  • When you add or edit calendar items from the Calendar screen, the Add/Edit Calendar Item screens now display as modals, allowing you to make changes quickly without being redirected to another screen. [ADO-35827, 37799]
  • Stopping an active timer on a ticket now opens the Time Logs tab to allow you to enter a new time log, instead of taking you to a separate screen. [ADO-37701]
  • When entering or editing time logs, the Time Logs tab now features the Ticket Status field so you can easily change the status of the ticket as you submit a time log. [ADO-35838]
  • The Tasks tab on tickets now allows you to edit tasks directly from the tab without navigating to a different screen. [ADO-31855]
  • The editor on the ticket Activity tab has been resized to allow users to review previously entered activity notes without having to scroll as far. The editor also automatically resizes as you type, ensuring you can easily review any new activity notes you enter. [ADO-32950]


Bug Fixes

  • The Calendar Quickview widget on the ticket stage once again functions as expected without experiencing loading issues. [ADO-41352]
  • Clicking the Send to Billing button on tickets no longer incorrectly removes the Contact and Tech Assigned from the ticket. [ADO-40948]
  • When configuring a Time Entry Reason in the system tables, you can now enter a Minimum Time greater than one hour without experiencing an issue with incorrect rounding. [ADO-40421]

New Features

  • The new Reports Dashboard allows you to view various dashboards and graphs for data in your instance. To start exploring the Dashboard, access Reports > Dashboard and select one of the two options on the My Dashboards tab. You can also create your own data sets for reports and custom dashboards. [ADO-30342]
  • The new Time Entry tab is now available in the System Tables category on the System Settings screen. This tab allows you to configure the options that populate the Time Log Reason dropdown on time logs. [ADO-28631, 38661]
  • The new Tickets tab is now available in the System Tables category on the System Settings screen. This tab allows you to enter, edit, and delete the options that populate the Status dropdown on tickets. [ADO-29226, 31942]
  • The Company category on the System Settings screen now features the new Company Business Hours section where you can configure your company's time zone, business hours, and work days. [ADO-31442]


Updates

  • You can now right-click to open any submenu option on the main sidebar menu in a new window. Thanks to Eric Lamp and Heather Polinski for their feedback! [ADO-38593]
  • The main sidebar menu features several other updates to enhance user experience, including highlighting which module you're currently using, displaying a border when you hover over a module option, and hiding modules that you don't have permissions to access. [ADO-38366, 39413]
  • The Status chip on the Customer List view now displays as blue for customers with a Pending or Prospect Status. Previously, these statuses displayed as green, along with the Open Status, which caused some confusion. [ADO-35792]
  • The Role Permissions section on the Add/Edit Role screens now features a new Ticketing tab that contains permissions to open, close, and send a ticket to Billing. [ADO-33713]


Bug Fixes

  • When you change a user's Status, the User Management list view now updates automatically to display the correct Status without requiring you to manually refresh the screen. [ADO-38393]
  • On the Timesheets screen, the Edit Time Log link is disabled in the weekly grid if the ticket has a Closed Status or if the ticket has been sent to Billing. Tickets with these conditions cannot be modified. [ADO-34732]
  • You can once again mark tasks as complete/incomplete using the ellipsis menu on the customer Calendar Items tab. [ADO-39460]
  • The Workflows screen header no longer overlaps the main sidebar menu, preventing you from accessing other areas of the system. [ADO-39722]
  • The search icon no longer displays upside down in the Product dropdown on the ticket Parts & Labor tab. [ADO-40085]

New Features

  • The main toolbar across the top of the screen now features the new notification options, which allow you to send direct messages to users in your instance and see your unread notifications, including direct messages and ticket assignments. [ADO-37773, 37809]
  • The new Ticket Created option is now available in the Triggering Event dropdown when creating workflows. This option allows you to schedule a workflow notification when tickets are created that match conditions you set using one or more of the following fields: Billing Status, Contact, Created By, Customer, Description, Priority, Severity, Status, Tech Assigned, and Type. [ADO-34175]


Updates

  • When adding or editing users to records in Rev.io PSA, the list of users available in dropdowns in now limited to only active users for easier selection. If a user previously selected in one of these fields becomes inactive, that user still displays in the list until another user is selected. These changes apply to the following fields. [ADO-31946-31950, 31952, 34428]
    • Tech Assigned on tickets
    • Action By on customer journal notes
    • Attendee on Event-type calendar items
    • Assigned To on Task-type calendar items
    • Add User on user groups
  • For tickets created via email that were not matched to a customer, the Delete Ticket button is now conveniently located on the page header so you can easily remove irrelevant tickets from your instance. [ADO-30674]
  • The Customer List view now defaults to hiding any customers with a Closed Status. You can still display any closed customers by clicking the Filter button and unchecking the Hide Closed Customers option. [ADO-38136]


Bug Fixes

  • When adding and editing users, the required fields (Login Name, First Name, Last Name, and Email Address) now display with asterisks as expected so you can easily see which fields need to be completed to create a user. [ADO-38468]

  • When changing the Start Time on a calendar item, the End Time now consistently updates automatically to maintain the same duration. [ADO-35504]
  • The default duration for new calendar items created by clicking the New Calendar Item button is now 1 hour to improve usability of the Calendar screen. [ADO-35503]


Bug Fixes

  • When copying a workflow, either from the menu at the end of each row on the Workflows list view or the Copy Workflow button on the Workflow details screen, the experience is now the same, allowing you to duplicate existing workflows for easier editing. [ADO-26469]
  • Sending tickets to Billing now recognizes fractional quantities entered on the Parts & Labor tab of the ticket. Previously, charges displayed in Billing as if the whole quantity was added to the ticket. [ADO-37625]
  • When your Rev.io PSA session times out, you are now consistently prevented from accessing the application until you log in again. [ADO-37127]

Updates

  • The system now verifies that there is not an active timer running on the ticket when you close a ticket. [ADO-36311]
  • When selecting the View Full Calendar from the Calendar Quickview section on a ticket, any new calendar item created automatically retains the customer and ticket information without requiring you to manually reselect those items. [ADO-30864]
  • Several enhancements have been added to support use of Rev.io PSA by Rev.io Billing Reseller Partners based on their Bill Profile ID. [ADO-35471, 35472, 35426]
  • The options in the Triggering Event dropdown for workflow creation have been renamed from "Calendar Event Created/Modified" to "Calendar Item Created/Modified" to reflect that these options include both tasks and events. [ADO-36563]
  • When viewing time logs in the Daily View section on the Timesheets screen, the Work Requested is now truncated for time logs less than 15 minutes so that the text doesn't display outside of the designated box. [ADO-34380]
  • The first user to log into Rev.io PSA for each instance is automatically granted Global Administrator permissions so they can configure system settings and manage other users as intended. [ADO-34423]


Bug Fixes

  • When sending an email from Rev.io PSA, the system now consistently lists the From email address as the sender, rather than the To address. [ADO-36088]
  • The "Unable to save record. Please try again." error message now functions as expected when the system is unable to send an email from the ticket Activity tab. Previously, you needed to refresh the screen before the error stopped displaying. [ADO-36565]
  • The message icon once again displays consistently at the start of the row on the ticket list for tickets with unread emails from customers. [ADO-36099]
  • Successfully saving an activity note to a ticket after failing to send an email no longer incorrectly duplicates the note. [ADO-34870]
  • Saved ticket activity notes now consistently display as entered with rich text formatting. [ADO-36077]
  • The Send to Billing button on tickets now displays enabled as soon as the ticket is eligible to send to Rev.io Billing. Previously, you needed to refresh the screen before the button was enabled. [ADO-36065]
  • The date picker functionality now displays the correct number of days in March so you can select March 30th or 31st as desired. [ADO-36337]
  • The Workflows List view now loads on the first attempt as expected and no longer requires you to refresh your screen. [ADO-35831]

New Features

  • The System Settings category in the Admin module now includes a My Preferences section, which allows you to select a default dark/light mode and choose which screen displays upon login. This new section replaces the sun/moon icon that previously displayed in the lower left corner of the screen to toggle dark/light mode. [ADO-30045]


Updates

  • For tickets that have been sent to Billing or that have a Closed status, the Parts & Labor tab now displays View Time Log instead of Edit Time Log for part/labor items linked to time logs. This update prevents you from unnecessarily trying to edit the time log when it can no longer be modified. [ADO-31072] 
  • Several ticketing screens have been optimized for use on mobile devices. Simply log into Rev.io PSA from a browser on a mobile device to see how our platform adjusts to the smaller screen size. [ADO-34219, 34230, 35072, 34351]
  • A sentiment badge now displays at the top of the ticket details screen to show the general sentiment for the ticket based on an AI analysis of customer responses, which will become more accurate over time. Similarly, a sentiment badge displays on activity notes received from the customer on the Activity tab of the ticket. NOTE: Sentiment only displays on tickets with customer notes and therefore won't be visible in most lab environments. [ADO-35079, 35078]
  • Emails received from the customer now display on the ticket Activity tab with inline images and attachments directly on the activity note. Additionally, activity notes from customers now display in the same format as outgoing emails on the Activity tab. [ADO-30987, 29756]


Bug Fixes

  • The Time Logs tab and Parts & Labor tab on tickets now display pagination controls that are right-aligned instead of center-aligned to match the functionality in other areas of the system. [ADO-33999]
  • A message has been added to remind users to press Enter after typing an email address in the To Email field on the Create Workflow screen. An email address is not truly entered in this field until the user presses the Enter or Tab key on their keyboard. [ADO-35585]
  • The dropdown used to enter information in time-related fields, like Start Time and End Time, has been updated for tablet and iPad devices, allowing you to enter and edit time selections as you would from a desktop computer. [ADO-35962]
  • You can now edit a calendar item more than once in a row without experiencing  a loading issue. [ADO-33989]

  • When creating new tickets, the Select Customer dropdown now displays on the New Ticket screen instead of its own dialog box to streamline the ticket creation process. [ADO-29186]
  • Clicking a task on the Tasks tab of a ticket no longer opens the task on a different screen. Instead, you can click the ellipsis at the end of the row and select View from the menu options to view the details directly within the tab. [ADO-31876]


Bug Fixes

  • Required fields on the New Calendar Item screen now display consistently in red if they are not populated when you click the Create New Calendar Item button. [ADO-34554]
  • The Notes section no longer incorrectly displays twice on the New Calendar Item screen. [ADO-34549]

  • The Tasks tab on tickets now defaults to sorting in descending order by Start Date and Start Time, allowing you to easily access the most recent tasks without having to sort the list manually. [ADO-30480]
  • The Ticket List view no longer allows you to select Edit from the menu options on tickets with a Closed status. This update prevents you from accidentally making changes to a ticket that has already been closed. [ADO-30370]
  • The Tickets tab on the Customer Profile screen no longer allows you to select Edit from the menu options on tickets with a Closed status. This update prevents you from accidentally making changes to a ticket that has already been closed. [ADO-30371]
  • When creating customers, the Type field now defaults to Customer and the Status field defaults to Open for both business and residential customers. These changes help reduce manual entry and prevent errors. [ADO33608, ADO-33609]


Bug Fixes

  • You can once again select the Task Complete checkbox on a task accessed from a ticket without generating an error. [ADO-32687]

Updates

  • When adding permissions to a role, selecting any option automatically sets the view option, preventing users from accidentally omitting the view permission for essential actions. For example, selecting any of the Create new contacts, Delete contacts, or Edit contacts permissions automatically sets the View all contacts permission. [ADO-32758]
  • The User Management list view now features a dropdown for filtering users, allowing you to select which column you want to use when filtering the results displayed. [ADO-32681]
  • The User Groups list view now features a dropdown for filtering users, allowing you to select which column you want to use when filtering the results displayed. This list view also displays the Customize Columns button, which allows you to select/deselect which columns display in your list and click/drag the available columns to reorder them in your list.   • The Roles & Permissions list view now features a dropdown for filtering users, allowing you to select which column you want to use when filtering the results displayed. Bug Fixes

  • Links added on ticket activity notes once again display in blue, underlined text. [ADO-33023]
  • You can once again void a ticket as expected without generating an error. [ADO-33382]
  • Removing a tech from a ticket now creates a note on the System Entries tab of the Activity tab on the ticket, displaying the change from the previous tech to Not Set. [ADO-32893]

  • When adding time logs and tasks to tickets, a notification message now displays to indicate you have successfully added the time log or task. [ADO-30512, ADO-30523]
  • The New Customer screen, which previously featured a three-step flow, has been redesigned to allow you to enter all relevant information on a single page like other areas of the system. [ADO-28392]
  • Customer statuses have been updated to match those in Rev.io Billing. Previously, customers in Rev.io PSA could be either Active or Inactive. The customer Status options are now Open, Pending, Prospect, and Closed. [ADO-27785]


Bug Fixes

  • Updating a user's name in either Rev.io Billing or Rev.io PSA now carries the name change through to the following areas of the system.
    • The Action By field on customer journal notes. [ADO-31138, ADO-30747]
    • The rep dropdown on the Calendar screen. [ADO-30767]
    • All time logs associated with the user. [ADO-32081]
    • The Tech Assigned dropdown on tickets. [ADO-380084, ADO-30085]
  • When accessed from the Calendar screen, the Assigned To/Attendees field on new calendar items once again defaults to the rep selected on the Calendar screen as expected. [ADO-32801]
  • You can once again click the Edit Time Log link on the Timesheets screen without generating an error. [ADO-32804]
  • You can once again click a running timer in the top toolbar to return to the ticket without generating an error. [ADO-32547]
  • The New Time Log button is now disabled as expected on the ticket Time Logs tab once the ticket has been sent to Billing. [ADO-19598]
  • The Add Item button is now disabled as expected on the ticket Parts & Labor tab once the ticket has been sent to Billing. [ADO-19599]
