View Parts & Labor Item Details
The ticket Parts & Labor tab allows you to view a list of all the part/labor items added on the ticket and access details for individual items.
Each field on the Parts & Labor tab for viewing existing part/labor items on the ticket is defined below.
No. | Label | Definition |
1 | Product ID | Numerical identifier for the part/labor item in your database. |
2 | Description | Description of the part/labor item. |
3 | Quantity | Quantity of the part/labor item. |
4 | UOM | Unit of measurement for the part/labor item. This field is read-only and populates based on the Product selected. |
5 | Price | Amount in dollars and cents charged to the customer for the part/labor item. This field populates based on the Product selected but can be adjusted manually. |
6 | Total Price | Total price charged to the customer for the part/labor item. Total Price = Price x Quantity. This field is read-only and calculates automatically based on the Quantity and Price fields. |
7 | Cost | Amount in dollars and cents paid to buy or provide the part/labor item. This field is read-only and populates based on the Product selected. |
8 | Total Cost | Total cost paid to buy or provide the part/labor item. Total Cost = Cost x Quantity. This field is read-only and calculates automatically based on the Quantity and Cost fields. |
The following actions are available on the Parts & Labor tab.
- Add a new part/labor item by clicking the Add Item button in the upper portion of the tab. See the Add/Edit Parts & Labor Items article for more information.
- Sort each column in the table by clicking the column label in the table header.
- For part/labor items entered manually on the Parts & Labor tab, edit the part/labor item by clicking the ellipsis at the end of the row and selecting Edit from the menu options. See the Add/Edit Parts & Labor Items article for more information.
- For labor items automatically added from Billable time logs, edit the related time log by clicking Edit Time Log at the end of the row. See the Create/Edit Time Logs article for more information.
- Delete the time log by clicking the ellipsis at the end of the row and selecting Delete from the menu options. See the Deleting Time Logs article for more information.
