Slack & Teams Integrations: Admin Configuration

NOTE: An authorized user account is required to run this integration. To support better security and audit visibility, we recommend creating a dedicated "service account" user. When configuring this integration, sign in using the service account rather than your personal user account to ensure that audit logs reflect the service account running the integration instead of the user who originally installed it. 

Complete the steps below to configure the Slack/Teams integrations.

  1. Click Admin on the sidebar menu and select Integrations Library.

     
  2. Click the Marketplace tab.

     
  3. Locate and select Microsoft Teams for PSA Workflow or Slack for PSA Workflow in the Workflow Communicator section.

     
  4. Click the Configure button.

     
  5. The Initial Configuration section is automatically populated. Click the Next button.

     
  6. The Instance Configuration section is automatically populated. Click the Finish button.

     
  7. Each user in your Rev.io PSA environment who wants to configure Rev.io PSA notifications in Slack or Teams will need to complete their individual user configuration. See the Slack & Teams Integrations: User Configuration article for more information.
