Datto RMM Integration: Overview

Datto RMM is a cloud-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform that helps managed service providers and IT teams monitor, manage, patch, and secure endpoints, including workstations, servers, printers, and network devices, across all of their client sites from a single console. Integrating Rev.io with Datto RMM keeps your customer accounts and device inventory aligned between the two platforms, so the equipment your technicians manage in Datto RMM is reflected as customers and assets in Rev.io.

You can set up the Datto RMM integration using the Integrations Library in the Admin module. The integration provides two synchronizations.

  • Sites to Customer Accounts: Datto RMM sites are matched to Rev.io customer accounts. The integration fuzzy-matches site names to existing customers and keeps customer names aligned for linked (accepted) sites.
  • Devices to Assets: Datto RMM devices are created and updated as assets on the matched Rev.io customer account, including details such as operating system, IP address, serial number, model, processor, memory, disk storage, BIOS version, and antivirus status.

Customer and device syncs run automatically on an hourly schedule once the instance is deployed, and customers can also be synced on demand from the customer profile. Device sync can be turned on or off using the Enable Asset Sync setting during configuration.
