Create/Edit Calendar Items

The New Calendar Item and Edit Calendar Item screens allow you to enter and edit calendar items related to your customers. Information for the customer associated with the calendar item displays in the customer information section.

Each field on the New/Edit Calendar Item screens is defined below.

Select the customer for the calendar item. This section does not display if you accessed this screen from the Customer Profile.
2SubjectSubject for the calendar item. The Subject field is limited to 60 characters.
3TypeType of the calendar item. Type options include Event or Task.
4All DayClick to set the calendar item to All Day. All-day items do not have start or end times since they last for the entire day.
5PrivateClick to set the calendar item to Private. Private items are limited to 1 attendee and only display on the calendar for that 1 rep.
6Start DateStart date for the calendar item. 
7Start TimeStart time for the calendar item. Items set to All Day do not have a start time.
8End DateEnd date for the calendar item.
9End TimeEnd time for the calendar item. Items set to All Day do not have an end time.
10ActionAction for the calendar item. Action options for Tasks include Follow Up, Phone Call, Send Email, Send Letter, Send Proposal, and To-Do. Action options for Events include Appointment, Preventative Maintenance, Service Call, Lunch, Meeting, PTO, and Holiday.
11LocationLocation for the calendar item.
12ContactName of the contact on the customer record for which the calendar item was created.
13PriorityLevel of priority/importance for the calendar item. Priority options include High, Medium, and Low.
14AttendeesFor events, the names of the reps in your company invited to the event. Items set to Private are limited to 1 attendee.
15Assigned ToFor tasks, the name of the rep in your company who is assigned to handle the task.
16NotesAdditional information about the calendar item.
17Create/SaveClick to create/save the calendar item with the information entered.
