View FTP Site Files

Any provider of ratable products will send Call Detail Reports (CDR) via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Sites. It is imperative that these sites are monitored regularly to prevent billing errors. The FTP Files list view allows you to view more details about the specific files for an FTP site. If needed, you can also download, reprocess/rerate, delete usage, and delete the files on this screen.

Each field on the FTP Files list view is defined below.

3StatusStatus of the file. Status options include Complete, Error, and Unprocessed.
4DirectionDirection of the file. Direction options include Incoming and Outgoing.
5Total RecordsTotal number of records in the file.
6ProcessedTotal number of records in the file that processed successfully.
7FailedTotal number of records in the file that failed to process.
8SkippedTotal number of records in the file that were skipped.
9Size (KB)Size of the file in kilobytes.
10Created DateDate the file was created in Rev.io.
11Modified DateDate the file was last modified in Rev.io.

The following actions are available on the FTP Files list view.

  • Return to the FTP Sites list view by clicking the Back to Sites button. See the FTP Sites List View article for more information.
  • Perform a bulk action by selecting multiple files in the list view and clicking the Reprocess, Rerate, Delete Usage, or Delete buttons that display above the grid.
  • Search the files by selecting a column from the dropdown above the grid and entering text in the Search field. The list view updates to display files matching your search in the column you selected. 
  • Customize which columns display and the order in which they display by clicking the Arrange button and making the desired changes. See the Arrange Columns article for more information.
  • Sort the results in the table by clicking the column label in the table header.
  • Download a file in the FTP site by clicking the menu at the end of the row and selecting Download from the menu options.
  • Reprocess a file in the FTP site by clicking the menu at the end of the row and selecting Reprocess from the menu options.
  • Delete usage for a file in the FTP site by clicking the menu at the end of the row and selecting Delete Usage from the menu options.
  • Delete a file in the FTP site by clicking the menu at the end of the row and selecting Delete from the menu options.
