Acronis Integration: Overview

Acronis is a cyber protection platform that provides backup, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and RMM (remote monitoring and management) solutions. Integrating Rev.io with Acronis allows customer, product, asset, and alert data to flow between the two systems to support your management and operational workflows.

NOTE: The Acronis integration is a billed service. Rev.io charges based on the customers, workloads, and offering items you provision in Acronis through this integration. You must work with the Rev.io sales team to establish your commercial agreement before configuring the integration in your Rev.io instance.

You can integrate Rev.io with Acronis using the Integrations Library in the Admin module. Each sync runs automatically on its own recurring schedule once the integration is configured and enabled. The Acronis integration provides the following synchronization between Rev.io and Acronis:

  • Customer sync (Rev.io to Acronis): Selected customers in Rev.io are synced to Acronis as tenants, with a service account automatically created for each customer to support device deployment.
  • Product sync (Acronis to Rev.io): Acronis offering items are synced into the Rev.io product catalog so they can be used on quotes, contracts, and invoices.
  • Asset sync (Acronis to Rev.io): Acronis workloads (devices being protected) are synced into Rev.io as assets associated with the corresponding customer.
  • Alert-to-ticket sync (Acronis to Rev.io): Active Acronis alerts are imported into Rev.io as tickets. When an alert is dismissed in Acronis, the corresponding ticket is automatically closed in Rev.io.

To configure the Acronis integration for your environment, see the Acronis Integration: Configuration article.
