Dispatch Board: Dispatch Window
The Dispatch Window, accessed from the ticket panel on the Dispatch Board screen, displays the basic options you can select to create a new calendar item and schedule a tech for work on a ticket. From this window, clicking the Create Calendar Item button opens a modal where you can enter more details for the calendar items and officially schedule the work on your techs' calendars.
Each field in the dispatch window is defined below.
No. | Label | Definition |
1 | Tech Name | Name of the technician you want to dispatch for the ticket. |
2 | Start Date | Start date for the technician's work on the ticket. |
3 | Start Time | Start time for the technician's work on the ticket. |
These actions are available on the dispatch window.
- Enter information in the required fields on this window and click the Create Calendar Item button to start scheduling a tech to work on the ticket. See the Create/Edit Calendar Items article for more information about creating calendar items for your techs.
- When you've finished creating the calendar item to dispatch your tech, review the newly created item on the scheduling board. See the Dispatch Board: Scheduling Board article for more information on this area of the screen.
