Ingram Micro Integration: Configuration
| NOTE: An authorized user account is required to run this integration. To support better security and audit visibility, we recommend creating a dedicated "service account" user. When configuring this integration, sign in using the service account rather than your personal user account to ensure that audit logs reflect the service account running the integration instead of the user who originally installed it. |
Complete the steps below to configure the Ingram Micro integration.
| NOTE: Before starting the configuration steps below, be sure you have completed the required prerequisite steps. See the Ingram Micro Integration: Prerequisites article for more information. |
- Click Admin on the sidebar menu and select Integrations Library.
- Click the Marketplace tab.
- Locate and select the Ingram Micro integration in the Distribution section.
- Click the Configure button.
- The Initial Configuration section is automatically populated. Click the Next button.
- In the Ingram Micro Connection section, enter your Client ID and Client Secret from Ingram Micro. Then, enter the URL for your Ingram Micro instance in the Base URL field and click the Connect button. Rev.io will authorize the connection against the Ingram Micro Xvantage Reseller API.
- If your connection was successful, the status circle in the Ingram Micro Connection section will be green. Click the Next button.
- Enter your Ingram Micro reseller account number in the Customer Number field. The Country Code field defaults to US. If your Ingram Micro account is based outside of the United States, enter the two-letter ISO country code for your account. Click the Finish button.
- The integration will run its initial cost sync, updating Estimated Cost values on the Purchasing tab for products in your catalog that already have Ingram Micro listed as a vendor. The integration will also cross-reference any product without an Ingram Micro vendor entry against the Ingram Micro catalog by Manufacturer Part Number and automatically add Ingram Micro as a new vendor row when a match is found. Once the integration is connected, it will appear on the Marketplace tab with a green check mark indicating an active connection.
