New Features
- Custom fields are now available for assets, purchase orders, and tickets, giving you more flexibility to capture and manage additional information directly where you need it. The Custom Fields Manager in the Admin module allows you to create and manage fields, define values, and configure options such as minimum and maximum limits. [ADO-58071, 59412, 59295]
- Clients processing payments with TRX can now enable vendor surcharging for payment fees. The new Vendor Surcharging section is available when adding or editing TRX payment processor settings, improving fee transparency and supporting compliant, vendor-controlled surcharging. [ADO-59151]
- The new Use Ticket Tags option in the Service category on the System Settings screen allows you to enable custom tags for your tickets. Custom tags can be defined in the System Tags category on the System Settings screen, or you can enter new tags manually on each individual ticket. NOTE: The ticket tag functionality will not display in your instance unless you enable the Use Ticket Tags option. [ADO-59321]
- The new Documents tab in the Overview section on customer accounts allows you to upload, edit, and manage documents (up to 25MB). Existing customer-level documents from our classic Billing platform display automatically. NOTE: For classic Billing users, this tab applies only to customer files and does not include documents from tickets, orders, or tasks. [ADO-59504]
- The Billing Information tab in the Overview section of customer accounts now displays the Account Aging field, allowing you to click the Show Aging option to view the total outstanding balance on the account and a breakdown by aging buckets. [ADO-59557]
- When receiving products on purchase orders, the new Import Serial Numbers button allows you to upload a .CSV file of serial numbers for serialized products on the purchase order. [ADO-59723]
Updates
- The new Customer tab in the System Tables allows you to manage and customize Action Types for your customer journal entries. [ADO-58458
- The new Ledger tab in the System Tables allows you to manage and customize GL (General Ledger) Codes for your product catalog. [ADO-59441]
- When creating or editing bill profiles, you can now set the Use Last Day of Month option for the Term Days field, providing greater flexibility for billing cycles that must always end on the final calendar day of the month. [ADO-59286]
- The new Use Telecom Billing PDF Engine for Invoicing option is available on the General tab in the Billing Config category on the System Settings screen, allowing classic Billing users to maintain invoice consistency. While invoices follow classic Billing behavior when enabled, classic Billing remains the system of record for full billing configuration and administration. [ADO-59606]
- You can control which users can manage custom fields for assets, customers, purchase orders, and tickets using the new Custom Fields permission section. [ADO-59442]
- The Rev.io Developer Portal now supports custom fields for customers, allowing custom field data to be accessed and managed through the API. [ADO-59026]
- The Invoices and Unposted tabs in the Billing section on customer accounts now refresh automatically when credits, payments, or charges are posted.
- Users now receive in-app notifications when invoice batch processing completes, even while navigating elsewhere in Rev.io.
