Check out the latest updates in Rev.io PSA!
New Features
- The new Inventory Management feature is now available in Rev.io, allowing you to track serial numbers and locations for your products and reserve specific products for tickets. Standard costing is the only option available at this time, but Average and Specific costing are still in development and will be available in future releases. This feature differs from others in Rev.io and must be enabled manually. Click Admin > System Settings > Inventory > Enable Inventory Management to start using inventory management in your instance. Updates
- The Convert to Asset option set on the Admin tab of the product now functions fully as intended. When a transaction containing the product is sent to billing, an asset is created on the customer account. For serialized products with this option enabled, the serial number will be copied to the asset created on the customer account.
- The Balance, Overdue, Due, and Cycle Date summary cards that display in the Billing section on the Customer Profile screen now display in only one row to save space. [ADO-56620]
- The Unposted tab in the Billing section on the Customer Profile screen now features the ability to select multiple items and create an invoice for the selected items. Previously, you could only create an invoice for all unposted transactions on this screen. [ADO-55413]
- The Unposted tab also features a new menu option to Reverse a transaction. Additionally, you can select multiple items and reverse the transactions in bulk. [ADO-55671]
- The Advance Months field on bill profiles has been renamed Recurring Billing Options and is populated with Bill in Advance and Bill in Arrears, so you can clearly select the direction of your recurring billing. [ADO-56587]
- When creating or editing bill profiles, the Returned Payment Fee fields have been renamed to Amount and Description to better reflect the information being entered. Any text entered in the Amount field auto populates the Description field with Returned Payment Fee, which can then be updated if needed. [ADO-56583]
- When creating invoices on the Invoice Management screen, the due date on the invoice now defaults to the Due Date set on the bill profile, but can be manually selected if needed. [ADO-56092]
- When creating or editing user groups, you can now remove users from the group by clicking the delete icon at the end of the user's row on the Create/Edit User Group screen. [ADO-56673]
- The list of permissions available when adding or editing roles has been redesigned for enhanced user experience. The permissions now display as a vertical list with expandable categories. You can also search for specific permissions using the new search bar above the list. [ADO-56285]
- You can now control which users can delete tickets that do not have an assigned customer using the new Delete ticket with no assigned customer permission in the Ticketing permissions section. [ADO-33746]
- The submenu options available in the Admin module now display alphabetically to make it easier to find a specific menu option. [ADO-55558]
- In order to prevent accidental account closures, the system now displays a confirmation message when you change a customer's Status to Closed. [ADO-35820]
- The Ticket Technicians Rep Group field in the Service category on the System Settings screen has been renamed Ticket Technicians User Group to better reflect that you're selecting a user group in this dropdown. [ADO-56689]
- On both the ticket Tasks tab and the customer Calendar Items tab, you can now hover over the past due and completed icons on tasks to see what the icons mean. [ADO-56883]
Bug Fixes
- Inline images once again consistently save to the activity note on tickets as expected. [ADO-56527]
- You can once again load the Timesheet screen as expected without generating an error message. [ADO-57004]
