12.23.25 Release Notes

Check out the latest updates in Rev.io! For demos of the main enhancements included in this release, head over to the Rev.io Releases space in our Community.

New Features

  • Our new integration with Acronis is now available in the Integrations Library. Initially, you can create an account within Acronis and sync your customer information one-way from Rev.io to Acronis. Additional functionality for this integration will be available in future releases.
  • The new Recurring Services tab in the Billing section of the customer profile displays any recurring services configured for a customer in the legacy Billing platform (for our legacy Billing clients) along with contracts created directly in PSA. From this tab, you can manage those services by editing them and adjusting product quantities and rates.

In addition, the New Action button now includes a Recurring Service option, allowing legacy Billing clients to create new recurring services directly in Rev.io without switching back to the legacy Billing platform.

Special note for legacy Billing clients:  When using this New Action button for this function, please note that currently no order is created and the service and all products on that service are immediately created in Active status, thus generating any prorated or monthly charges that apply right away. If you need orders to generate, you should create the service in the legacy Billing platform instead. In addition, if the service you are creating is not already activated, you will want to either create the service in the legacy Billing platform so you can better control the activation date using an order, or simply wait until the service is active before creating it in PSA so that the charges generate at the appropriate time. Please note as well that the form for adding a recurring service does not currently display all service type fields configured in the legacy Billing platform. If there are other service type fields that you need to populate, you'll need to edit the service in the legacy Billing platform and manually add those data points after you create the service for now. Updates

  • The customer list view now includes a Tags search option, allowing you to easily find customers associated with specific tags. This search includes both system tags and custom tags entered manually for individual customers. [ADO-57910]
  • A new Tax Status field is now available in the Billing Information section on the Overview tab of the customer profile screen. This field allows you to mark customers as tax exempt based on the tax provider configured on the bill profile. [ADO-51420]
  • The new Job Costing widget on the ticket stage side panel allows users with the new View job costing permission to quickly view a summary of total sales versus total cost, including clear breakdowns for materials, labor, and overall totals. [ADO-58675]
  • The new Global User ID field is now available on the user details screen, allowing you to access this information if needed when working with our API. [ADO-58546]

Bug Fixes

  • The Company Business Hours section on the System Settings screen now displays Sunday through Saturday, ensuring consistency with other views across the application. [ADO-58555]
  • Users attempting to perform actions they don't have the appropriate permissions for now see a 403 error page instead of being incorrectly logged out of the system. [ADO-57997]
  • Users with proper permissions will no longer get inappropriately logged out when attempting to view the customer profile screen. [ADO-58510]
