Check out the latest updates in Rev.io! For demos of the main enhancements included in this release, head over to the Rev.io Releases space in our Community.

New Features

  • A new Capture Signature button is now available on the ticket Activity tab, allowing you to capture a customer’s signature to document acceptance of the work performed. You can also modify the Signature Acceptance Clause in the Service category on the System Settings screen. [ADO-57733]
  • You can now assign a User Group when creating or editing a ticket. Selecting a User Group filters the Primary Technician and Associated Technicians lists to only include users from that group, making it faster and easier to assign the right technicians to tickets. [ADO-59074]
  • Average valuation is now available when enabling or updating Inventory Management on the System Settings screen. This method calculates inventory Cost using a weighted average of received and adjusted inventory. If you switch from Standard to Average, the existing Standard Cost becomes the starting average, and future receipts will update the Cost as a weighted average. [ADO-58903]
  • Custom fields are now available on the customer profile screen. The new Custom Fields Manager in the Admin module allows you to create and manage fields, define values, and configure options such as minimum and maximum limits. Supported field types include text, text area, number, date, dropdown, multi-select, and checkbox, with layout controls to manage where fields appear. More areas of the platform will support custom fields in future releases. [ADO-50027]

Updates

  • When an email is received on a ticket, the assigned technician can now use the Reply button on the activity note to respond directly, with the full email history and all CC and BCC recipients automatically included in the email reply. [ADO-58681]

Bug Fixes

  • The Add Asset button on the ticket Items Serviced tab is now disabled as expected on tickets with a closed state. [ADO-59108]
  • The Action By field on customer journal entries now saves as expected when updating journal entries that were previously saved without an Action By entered. [ADO-58752]
