Forge Features

These enhancements were developed as part of our Forge program where our engineers go all-in to create bold, cutting-edge innovations designed to deliver exceptional value for our clients. Because these are beta features still under active development, you may experience minor issues as we continue to improve them. We encourage you to share your feedback so we can focus on the enhancements that matter most to you. Documentation and training resources will be available in the coming weeks as these features continue to evolve.

  • The Billing Config category on the System Settings screen now features the new Invoice Templates tab where you can customize the look and feel of your invoices using our brand new built-in Drag & Drop editor or an HTML editor. You can set a specific template as the default for one-time invoices and a separate template as the default for recurring invoices. The system will continue to use the existing default until a new template is set as the default. NOTE: This functionality is not yet compatible with our classic Billing platform and should not be used by classic Billing users. [ADO-58719]

New Features

  • Specific valuation is now available when enabling or updating Inventory Management on the System Settings screen. This method allows you to enter exact Cost for serialized items while using Average valuation for non-serialized items. When using Specific valuation, you can update Cost when reserving items for tickets from existing stock, and the Serial Number Import features a Cost column. Switching from Standard to Specific will assign the current Standard Cost to serialized items, and future receipts will track individual serial costs. Switching from Average to Specific will assign the current Average Cost to serialized items, and future receipts will track individual serial costs. [ADO-58903]
  • The new My Tasks screen is now available in the Scheduling module, providing a single, sortable list of all tasks assigned to you in one place. [ADO-58388]

Updates

  • The Add/Edit Journal Entry screen now features the Enable pop-up notification option. When this option is set, any user accessing the customer account will see the journal note as a pop-up on the screen. Additionally, a flag icon displays at the start of the row on the Journal tab if the journal note was set to enable the pop-up. [ADO-59250]
  • The Filter option in the Create Invoices section on the Invoice Management screen now defaults to In Cycle. [ADO-60114]
  • The new LinkedIn URL, Mobile Number, Contact Type, and Company fields are available when creating or editing contacts on customer accounts. [ADO-60154]
  • The new Contact Type section is available on the Customer tab in the system tables, allowing you to customize the Contact Types available for selection when creating or editing contacts for customer accounts.
  • Recurring products are no longer available in the Product dropdown when adding items to a contract on the Contract Rates tab of the Contract Details screen. [ADO-60091]
  • When creating or editing bill profiles, the Lead Days, Lead Months, Term Days, and Term Months fields now accept negative values. [ADO-59841]
  • The address book icon is now available on the ticket Activity tab when sending email communications. You can select from the Company (users in your instance) or Customer (contacts on the customer account) address books to populate the desired email addresses in the To, CC, or BCC fields.
  • Users can now remove all products from a service and cancel the service as needed, making it easier to manage services and ensure accurate customer billing. [ADO-60075]
  • When creating tickets in the Work section on the Project Details screen, you can now select a specific Phase for the ticket instead of having to unlink and relink the ticket for the project to choose the Phase. [ADO-59914]
  • Several unavailable fields have been removed from the Projects module to prevent confusion. The Project Budget, Priority, and Billable fields no longer display when creating or editing projects, and the Budget Allocation, Mark as Milestone, and Mark as At Risk fields no longer display when creating or editing project phases.
  • Specific phases in the Phases section on the Project Details screen no longer display the non-functional progress bar or count of completed hours.
  • The Projects module features several additional UI updates to provide a cleaner, more consistent user experience.
