2.5.26 Release Notes

Check out the latest updates in Rev.io! For demos of the main enhancements included in this release, head over to the Rev.io Releases space in our Community.

New Features

  • The new Commerce Hub module is now available, allowing you to browse and search technology partners, explore their products and services, and contact them directly, all from one centralized storefront.
  • The Internal Users and Internal Groups options now display when creating or editing workflows. The Internal Users option notifies users directly associated with the ticket or calendar item, while the Internal Groups option notifies all users within the selected group. Each user receives only one notification per workflow action per message type, even if they belong to both. NOTE: SMS notifications are sent only to users who have opted in under My Preferences and when SMS is enabled for the instance. [ADO-60022]
  • The Billing Config category on the System Settings screen now features the new General tab where you can choose to Create Invoices, Email Invoices, Process Payments, and Print Invoices Manually or Automatically. Each option can be set independently, providing greater flexibility and control over billing workflows. [ADO-59638]
  • The Email category on the System Settings screen has been redesigned to use tabs for an improved user experience. Additionally, the Support Inboxes tab now allows you to configure additional support inboxes for ticket creation using your own credentials for a hosted mailbox from Office365 or Gmail. Tickets can be routed to specific inboxes based on Ticket Type. Routing based on User Group will be available in a future release. NOTE: At this time, Rev.io does not provide additional mailboxes past the initial inbox. Thanks to Blueline Telecom for their feedback! [ADO-59263]

Updates

  • The new User Group field is available when creating and editing tickets. This field defaults to the Default Ticket User Group set in the Service category on the System Settings screen
  • The Email category on the System Settings screen features the new From Name field, allowing you to control the sender name on outgoing system emails. If not set, the system defaults to the Company Name entered in Company Information, or Rev.io PSA Web if no company name is configured. [ADO-58970]
  • When creating charges either manually or automatically, all valid product items are now billable and only selectable where appropriate, ensuring charges and invoices are generated reliably without manual correction or system errors. [ADO-60028]
  • The Rev.io Mobile app now features minor UI updates, a new User Group field on the Add/Edit Ticket screen, and improvements to the Ticket List search. NOTE: Due to App Store and Google Play approval processes, these updates may take time to appear in the app. [ADO-59759, 59788, 59970]
