Check out the latest updates in Rev.io!
New Features
- The new Analytics module is now available, allowing you to access, create, and customize dynamic dashboards, charts, and datasets directly in Rev.io using a drag-and-drop dashboard builder, a guided chart builder with optional SQL support, and over 25 visualization types. You can also create custom datasets from approved tables using a built-in data reference guide. You can control who can access and build reports in the Analytics module using the new Report Access permission section.
- Revii’s interface has been redesigned to be more modern, flexible, and easier to use. Revii now launches in a compact panel that opens in the lower-right corner instead of full screen so you can continue working while using the agent. The panel is fully resizable to fit your workflow, returned content is easier to read with improved formatting and scrollable results, and new thinking-step indicators provide greater transparency into what Revii is doing.
- Revii also features the new Revii Data Analytics mode, accessed by clicking the Ask Revii button in the Revii chat window and choosing the Revii Data Analytics option. Revii Data Analytics allows you to uncover trends, surface key metrics, and answer questions across your Rev.io operational data faster and with greater confidence. Get quick answers without building reports, explore patterns across customers, invoices, payments, tickets, and quotes, and easily identify trends, outliers, and performance signals. With improved interpretation and more reliable analysis, even for complex questions, Revii Data Analytics delivers faster insight, better visibility, and more actionable understanding of your data.
Updates
- You can now control whether users can edit and delete non-email ticket activity notes in the Ticketing permission section. Users granted these permissions will see new Edit and Delete options available in the menu on activity note entries, allowing them to update or remove notes as needed while maintaining proper access control. [ADO-59180]
- Ticket list columns are now resizable, and any column width adjustments are saved with the template. This enhancement allows you to configure field sizes to fit your workflow and preserve those settings for future use. [ADO-59945]
- The Update Current List View Layout option is now available in the template view dropdown when you make changes while viewing an existing saved view. [ADO-59948]
- SKU/USOC and Manufacturer Part Number have been added as columns on the product catalog list view. These columns do not display by default, but you can add them to your view using the Arrange button. [ADO-60494]
- The List Price and Standard Cost fields in the product catalog now support four decimal places instead of two, enabling precise micro-pricing (e.g., $0.0012 per API call) and ensuring accurate margin and COGS calculations without rounding errors. [ADO-60850]
- Customer journal entries can now be deleted. The Delete option is now available in the menu for each row on the customer Journal tab, and a confirmation popup prevents accidental deletion before the action is applied. You can control which users can delete customer journal entries in the Customer Journals permission section. [ADO-60876, 60911]
- When creating or updating products, the system now shows clear, field-level validation messages to help users quickly identify and resolve issues. Previously, generic save errors did not indicate what needed to be corrected, making product setup more difficult. Thanks to CallSprout for their feedback! [ADO-59163]
- When a payment method cannot be processed, the system now shows clear error messages in the lower right corner to help users quickly identify and resolve issues. Previously, the generic error did not provide a reason for the failure, making payment setup more difficult. [ADO-60498]
- You can now create time logs for products with any Labor Product Type. Previously, time logs only recognized the one specific Labor Product Type instead of allowing other labor items, like OneTime - Labor and OneTime - Parts and Labor. [ADO-60497]
Bug Fixes
- Users without Customer Billing permissions can now access other areas of the customer account as expected. Thanks to AhelioTech for their feedback! [ADO-60499]
- The month on the Expiration Date is no longer being incorrectly changed when entering payment methods on customer accounts. Instead, the Expiration Date is saved as expected. Thanks to TriCom for their feedback! [ADO-60577]
- You can now remove the Open Status filter on the customer list so you can see customers with all statuses. Previously, the Open Status filter would remain selected even when you deselected it. [ADO-60133]
- Saved and shared ticket list view templates now remain visible in the drop-down after refreshing the page or navigating away, ensuring saved lists are consistently accessible. [ADO-59898]
- Macros containing only embedded images no longer display the images in the ticket activity macro list view, keeping the list clear and easy to navigate. [ADO-59951]
- Changing a ticket’s Status from Closed to Open when entering activity notes now works consistently. Previously, entering text in the Work Performed section incorrectly prevented the Status from updating. [ADO-60229]
Mobile Updates
Due to App Store and Google Play approval processes, these updates may take time to appear in the app.
- The Rev.io Mobile app now features the new Product Catalog list view, making it easier to find and manage products on the go. You can quickly search for specific items, sort results, and apply filters to narrow down the list and find exactly what you need. [ADO-56942]
- Tapping an item from the Product Catalog list in the Rev.io Mobile app opens a Product Details view with a sectioned layout, status info, and complete product information. [ADO-56971]
- The new Additional Information section on the New Ticket, Edit Ticket, and Ticket Detail screens in Rev.io Mobile allows you to view and manage custom fields for your tickets based on your existing custom fields configurations. [ADO-59487]
- Rev.io Mobile users can now reserve inventory-managed products directly from the ticket with a clear indicator showing when inventory has been reserved. The Reserve action and Reserved Status display dynamically based on whether you have inventory management enabled in your instance and whether the product was flagged for inventory management. [ADO-59603]
- You can now view ticket history for a customer directly from the Ticket Details screen in Rev.io Mobile. Tapping the new View All Tickets button displays all tickets for that customer, sorted from newest to oldest by Ticket ID. [ADO-60461]
- The header bar stays fixed on the Ticket Details screen in Rev.io Mobile while you scroll so you can see which ticket you're working at all times.
- When Edit is the only option available from the menu in Rev.io Mobile, the menu icon has been replaced with a pencil icon to make it easier to access the edit functionality.
