The major features and updates listed below will be releasing this Thursday, 9/24/26. Bug fixes and minor updates are released as they are completed throughout the week.
New Features
- When sending an email from a ticket, the full public note history is now automatically included in the email body by default, giving recipients the context they need without requiring additional research. Notes are loaded from most recent to oldest, with the work requested appearing at the bottom. All automatically included content is fully editable before sending, including the ability to select all and delete it entirely if you prefer to send without the history. Internal notes are never included automatically, even when sending from the internal tab. If you want to include an internal note, it must be added manually. [66446]
- Stage panels on the ticket detail can now be shown, hidden, and rearranged to create a personalized layout. Core panels such as AI Overview, Time Tracking, and SLA & Work Timers remain pinned at the top, while other panels can be toggled off or reordered through drag and drop. Administrators can set a team baseline layout, and individual users can reset to the team default at any time. [66189]
- When converting a lead to a customer, you can now set the customer account status and enable the option to keep the account open without services, eliminating the need to manually adjust these settings after conversion. [66456]
- Workflows now support tag-based triggers, allowing you to fire a workflow the moment a specific tag is added to or removed from a ticket. A single workflow can watch for multiple tags at once, making it easy to notify a team, start an escalation, or kick off automation whenever tags are applied. Teams and Slack notifications can now also be styled with bold text, italics, bulleted and numbered lists, line breaks, and clickable links, matching the formatting already available for email notifications. All existing workflows continue to work as before with no setup required.
Updates
- The Developer Portal now includes comprehensive documentation for ticketing API endpoints, expanding from 5 basic endpoints to cover approximately 90 additional routes including time logs, parts and labor, activity notes, tags, assets, bulk operations, ticket linking, admin configuration, signature capture, recurring ticket schedules, SLA timers, and ticket billing. [66376]
- The Dispatch Board weekly view now displays non-work hours with blue shading, matching the daily view, and shows a conflict warning when scheduling work outside a technician's work hours. The calendar also now checks for conflicts when scheduling items outside a user's work hours and displays a warning that allows you to proceed or cancel. [66569, 66576]
- A new Executive Dashboard is now available in Rev.io Analytics, giving admins and executives a holistic view of business health across four tabs: Overview for a daily pulse check, Receivables for AR aging and collections follow-up, Billing for revenue trends and top accounts, and Payments for collections trends and payment method mix.
- A new G/L Code Dashboard is now available in Rev.io Analytics, giving finance and operations teams a complete view of product-to-G/L code mapping coverage and the billing, cost, tax, and profit behind each code. Unmapped products are ranked by billing volume so you can prioritize the highest-impact gaps first.
- The NinjaOne RMM asset sync now covers mobile devices, network equipment, virtual machines, and ITAM shelf stock, with each device class automatically filed under the correct asset type. Per-class toggles are available under Sync Settings and are off by default. A one-time retype option applies the new mapping to previously synced assets, and unrecognized device classes can be skipped or filed as Other.
- Tickets created from NinjaOne alerts now automatically include an internal note with a snapshot of the device's current state at ticket creation, including organization and location, operating system, model, last contact, last boot, last logged-in user, and IP and MAC addresses, along with a link to open the device directly in the NinjaOne console. The snapshot is on by default and can be disabled under the integration's Sync Settings using the Include Device Snapshot on Alert Tickets toggle.
- Users can now preview the full details of a customer invoice, including line items, amounts, taxes, and totals, before confirming its creation from the Unposted tab, allowing them to verify accuracy and avoid invoicing errors. [61315]
- You can now send interactive proposals that allow customers to select which products and services they want before signing. When creating a quote, configure selection options to let customers choose from multiple items, pick between alternatives, or adjust quantities. The customer receives a proposal they can customize by checking or unchecking services, selecting options, and modifying quantities, with totals updating automatically based on their selections. After the customer signs, you can review exactly what they chose before approving the final quote. [66420]
- Invoices can now display special messages and autopay messages (ACH and credit card) from the bill profile or customer billing information when using the new invoice template engine, allowing you to communicate important information directly on customer invoices. [66677]
- You can now create an invoice directly from a ticket associated with a child account, and the system will automatically bill the parent account appropriately. [66454]
- Revii chats can now be renamed by opening the chat history dropdown and clicking the pencil icon next to the chat.
- Revii chat now accepts photos, PDFs, CSVs, and Excel files via paste, drag and drop, or the attach button. Attached content is summarized automatically with clickable next-step chips for common follow-ups such as creating a ticket, looking up a customer, or extracting details. Files can be previewed inline from the Files panel or a chat link without downloading first. Spreadsheets can also drive bulk creation of customers, tickets, assets, and locations, with automatic column mapping and an editable review grid before any records are written. A CSV export of failed rows is available for offline correction and re-upload.
Bug Fixes
- Unchecking the Create Billing Adjustment option when adding a recurring service with a specific start date now correctly prevents the system from creating a billing adjustment. [66598]
- The ticket preview when viewing recurring schedules now correctly renders formatted text and accurately reflects the assigned status, priority, and type values instead of always showing default values. [66629]
- The contact dropdown on assets now correctly filters out inactive contacts. [66635]
- The Recent Invoice widget on the customer account page now correctly generates invoice PDFs using the Rev.io Billing template for customers using the Telecom PDF generation option. [66637]
- The invoicing button is now correctly disabled and the billable items indicator hidden once a ticket is sent to billing, preventing duplicate invoicing. The billable items icon on the parts and labor tab now also displays correctly regardless of whether inventory items are reserved. [66650]
Mobile
- The mobile app can now dynamically switch between legacy and new Billing Platform Services API endpoints at runtime, allowing infrastructure migrations without requiring app rebuilds or redeployments. [66724]
- One-time items on quotes can now be edited and deleted in the mobile app. [66661]
- The mobile app no longer experiences random logouts. [66642]
