# View User Group Details

The View User Group screen allows you to view details for individual user groups, including name, description, and roles. A 'user group' in Rev.io is a defined set of roles and users in your database.

| User groups allow you to categorize certain segments of your users and assign roles/permissions to the whole group at once. |

Each field on the View User Group screen is defined below.

| **Label** | **Definition** |
| --- | --- |
| **User Group Name** | *Name of the user group.* |
| **Description** | *Description for the user group.* |
| **Roles Added to User Group** | *A checkmark displays next to roles added to the user group.* |
| **Users in User Group** | *First name, last name, email address, and job title for users in the user group.* |

These actions are available on the View User Group screen.

-   Edit the user group by clicking the **Edit User Group** button at the top of the screen. See the [Add/Edit User Groups](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/add-edit-user-groups) article for more information.
-   Sort each column in the **Users in User Group** table by clicking the column label.
