# Product Catalog List View

The Product Catalog list view displays every product in your database, regardless of type or category. A “product” in Rev.io is any item or service provided by your company, including physical goods, labor, services, licenses, etc. The Product Catalog list view allows you to create, view, and manage physical and digital products for your quotes, tickets, and recurring services.

Each field on the Product Catalog screen is defined below.

| **NOTE:** Fields shown in the list view can vary based on the data entered on record creation. If a field is left blank or a column is hidden using the Arrange columns option, it will not appear in the list view. |

| **Product Name** | *Name of the product. **NOTE:** A box icon at the start of the name indicates that the product has inventory management enabled, and a barcode icon indicates the product is serialized.* |
| **Description** | *Description of the product.* |
| **List Price** | *Amount your company sells the product for in dollars and cents.* |
| **Standard Cost** | *Amount it costs your company to buy the product in dollars and cents.* |
| **Type** | *Type for the product.* |
| **Status** | *Status of the product. Status options include Active and Inactive.* |
| **Category** | *Category for the product. See the* [*System Settings: System Tables - Product Catalog*](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/system-settings-system-tables-product-catalog) *article for more information on configuring category options.* |
| **Subcategory** | *Subcategory for the product. See the* [*System Settings: System Tables - Product Catalog*](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/system-settings-system-tables-product-catalog) *article for more information on configuring subcategory options.* |
| **UPC** | *Universal product code (UPC) for the product.* |
| **SKU/USOC** | *Stock keeping unit (SKU) or universal service order code (USOC) for the product. This column does not display by default, but you can add it to your view using the **Arrange** button.* |
| **Manufacturer Part Number** | *Manufacturer part number for the product. This column does not display by default, but you can add it to your view using the **Arrange** button.* |

These actions are available on the Product Catalog list view.

-   Add a new product by clicking the **Add Product** button at the top of the screen. See the [Add/Edit Products](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/add-edit-products) article for more information.
-   Enable multiple items for inventory management by clicking the checkbox at the start of each row and clicking the **Bulk Action** button above the grid. Select **Inventory Management** for the bulk action and indicate whether the product **Requires Inventory Management** and **Serial Tracking**. -   Search the products displayed on this view by selecting a column from the dropdown above the grid and entering text in the **Search** field. The list view updates to display records matching your search in the column you selected.
-   Filter the products displayed on this view by clicking the **Filter** button above the grid and unchecking the **Hide Inactive Products** option. The list view hides products with an Inactive **Status** by default so you can focus on products currently in use. Unchecking this option shows all products in the list view, regardless of their status.
-   Customize which columns display in the list view and the order in which they display by clicking the **Arrange** button and making the desired changes. See the [Arrange Columns](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/arrange-columns) article for more information.
-   Sort the results in the table by clicking the column label in the table header.
-   View more details for the product by clicking the row. See the [View Product: Details](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/view-product-details) article for more information.
-   Edit the product by clicking the ellipsis at the end of the row and selecting **Edit** from the menu. See the [Add/Edit Products](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/add-edit-products) article for more information.
-   Change the **Status** for a product by clicking the ellipsis at the end of the row and selecting **Set to Active** or **Set to Inactive** from the menu options.

You can deactivate multiple products at once by clicking the checkbox at the start of each row, clicking the **Bulk Action** button above the grid, and selecting **Deactivate**. The selected products are set to an Inactive **Status**. You must have the correct permission in order to be able to deactivate products. A confirmation shows the number of products selected, and the list refreshes when the action is complete. The list view hides Inactive products by default, so deactivated products may disappear from the list until Hide Inactive Products is unchecked.
