# Outlook Integration: Admin Configuration

The Outlook integration must be **configured in two main steps**: the **initial admin configuration** to set up the integration in your environment and **individual user configurations** to allow users to connect to their specific Outlook accounts. This article covers the process for configuring the Outlook integration for your entire Rev.io instance.

**Each user who wants to sync their calendar with Outlook will need to complete the individual user configuration process. For information on the individual user configuration, see the** [**Outlook Integration: User Configuration**](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/outlook-integration-user-configuration) **article for more information.**

| **NOTE:** An authorized user account is required to run this integration. To support better security and audit visibility, we recommend creating a dedicated "service account" user. When configuring this integration, sign in using the service account rather than your personal user account to ensure that audit logs reflect the service account running the integration instead of the user who originally installed it. |
