# Dispatch Board: Timeline

The *timeline* on the right side of the Dispatch Board displays your technicians' schedules and allows you to visualize availability before dispatching. Each technician row displays a color-coded progress bar showing their scheduled hours relative to their available hours for the day. A bar shown in red indicates the technician is scheduled for more than 100% of their available hours.

The timeline can be viewed in **Day** or **Week** format. Use the date navigation arrows to move forward or backward, or click **Today** to return to the current date. Technicians can be sorted by name using the **Name** dropdown and searched using the **Search** field. Additional filters are available by clicking the **Filters** button.

The following actions are available in the *timeline*.

-   Switch between day and week views by clicking **Day** or **Week**.
-   Navigate to a different date by clicking the forward and back arrows, or click **Today** to return to the current date.
-   Search for a specific technician by entering text in the **Search** field.
-   Filter the technician list by clicking the **Filters** button.
-   Dispatch a ticket to a technician by dragging a ticket card from the *ticket panel* to the technician's time slot. See the [Dispatch Board: Dispatch Window](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/dispatch-board-dispatch-window) article for more information.
-   Reassign a dispatched ticket to a different technician by clicking and dragging the calendar item to a different technician's time slot.
-   Click a calendar item to view the ticket description, scheduled time, and assigned technician. From this pop-up, click **View Ticket Info** to open the ticket record or **Edit Calendar Item** to update the calendar item details.
