# Customer Profile: Overview Section - Billing Information Tab

The *Billing Information* tab on the Customer Profile screen contains details specific to the customer's accounting and billing.

Each field on the *Billing Information* tab is defined below.

| **Label** | **Definition** |
| --- | --- |
| **Bill Profile** | *Bill profile for the customer. See the* [*Create/Edit Bill Profiles*](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/create-edit-bill-profiles) *article for more information about bill profiles.* |
| **Account Type** | *Account type for the customer.* |
| **Email** | *Email address for the customer.* |
| **Account Number** | *Optional manually-assigned identifier for the customer.* |
| **Rev.io ID** | *System-assigned numerical identifier for the customer record in your Rev.io Billing database. If the customer record originated in classic Rev.io, the Rev.io ID matches the **Customer ID**.* |
| **Billing Method** | *Billing method of receipt for the customer. Email, Print, or Both.* |
| **Net Terms** | *Payment terms for the customer. Defaulted from bill profile.* |
| **Tax Exempt** | *Used to configure any required tax exemptions for the customer. Checking this box opens up a more detailed configuration screen.* |
| **Special Message** | *Message that prints on the customer's invoices. This message is filled in from the customer's bill profile. Click **Override** to enter a message that is specific to this customer.* |
| **ACH Autopay Message** | *Message that prints on the customer's invoices when the customer pays automatically from a bank account.* |
| **Card Autopay Message** | *Message that prints on the customer's invoices when the customer pays automatically with a credit or debit card.* |

These actions are available on the *Billing Information* tab.

-   Edit the customer record by clicking the **Edit** button, making the desired changes, and clicking **Save**.

The *Bill Messages* section appears at the bottom of the tab when you click the **Edit** button. A message entered for the customer takes precedence over the same message on the bill profile. The autopay messages print only if the customer has autopay set up with a matching payment account.
