# API Keys List View

The API Keys list view allows you to create, view, and delete various API keys for your Rev.io instance. An API key is a unique identifier that allows secure communication between your Rev.io platform and other applications.

| **NOTE:** API keys are required to connect to the Rev.io API. See the [Rev.io Developer Portal](https://developer-portal.reviopsa.com/docs/guides/getting-started/api-key-authentication) for more information on connecting to the API. For information on where you can access the portal, see the [Accessing the Rev.io Developer Portal](https://help.psarev.io/en/article/accessing-the-revio-developer-portal) article. |
